E. C. Goodwin Technical High School Reviews

“E.C. Goodwin is probably the best high school (by far) around the Hartford county area. Their test scores are even higher than some of the surrounding non-tech high schools. And their new principal Steven Anderson, is the nicest, most responsible guy I know. I wouldn't trade any other principal for him. He does so so much for the school. They are currently under construction and when it is finished I expect it to get even better. The students are awesome, although there is a small group of trouble makers, who shouldn't be there, and don't deserve to be there, but hey I guess every school has those. Anyways, I love the school, and I would trust the school with my kids. I am currently a student there. -RL-”

“My brother and I were students at EC. I was lucky enough to leave on my sophmore year but my brother stayed. EC does not prepare you at all for college. I understand that it is a technical school but you will not be able to servive these days with only a high school diploma. The ciriculum was much too easy which is why most students go to that school. They just want to skate by to graduation. EC does not even prepare for the SAT's because they don't expect much from there students. If you have a child who wants to go to EC it is propubly for the wrong reason. High school should be to prepare for there future. Weather they want to persue a technical career or not I believe everyone should have the option of going to college and every school should push it.”
