Odyssey Community School Reviews

Both my children went to Odyssey and to this day they credit the wonderful education they received there to their success in other schools. Odyssey was way ahead of other schools in their academic programs.

I have had 3 children at this school. One of my kids graduated this past June. Because of the small class size teachers are able to communicate better with the students. When my oldest child was in middle school Odyssey wasn't around. What a diference the student is held more responsible for their class work. The 5th and 6th graders are to have their planners signed by their parent and the teachers check the planner. The school is very involved with the students and familys through many activities. A couple of years back a family went through a very tough time and the school was able to help out the family in various ways I can't say enough about this school other than it's great.

I have two children at this school and I feel it was a great alternative to the public school system in our town ,the class size is wonerful for your child if they need extra help and every teacher knows your child name . We may not have the highest test scores but what we do have you'll never find in public school that is a sense of pride ,the children here at ocs always go one step further, with the community outreach programs or as a peer mediator.I feel my children have excelled far greater here at ocs than any other school. The teachers are great with the childern and they all respect each other, and with that the staff works harder and so do the kids
